Blue Moon Charts
The changing phases of the Moon have for thousands of years helped people to mark and reckon the passage of time, and many traditional festivals are scheduled using the phases of the moon, or a combination of the lunar and solar cycles.
Easter Sunday, for example, is the first Sunday on or after the first full moon after the spring equinox, whereas the Chinese New Year is celebrated on a new moon – almost always the second new moon after the winter solstice.
Many women use moon charts to track their cycle against the moon phases.
These charts are screenprinted, silver on blue. Poster size approx. 12 x 33 inches (31 x 84 cm).
This Moon Calendar shows the phase of the moon for every day, as well as dates and times of full and new moons, the first and last quarters, eclipses, the moon’s zodiac sign ingress times, the solstices and equinoxes, etc.
