Naturally dyed deer hide, bathed three times to achieve its deep, radiant rose-red tone…in the face of the drum is a dragon…born in the land of the dragons, and created with the the dusky pink dragon card at its side! (see photo)

The drums name- Rosa Primordia Vox – The First Rose Voice

Rosa — the Rose lineage, beauty, devotion, the heart made holy
Primordia — the first beginning, the original moment of creation
Vox — the voice, the declaration, the spoken truth that shapes reality

Together, this name speaks of the Rose that speaks first — the moment when beauty finds its voice and creation responds. It is the drum of clear beginnings, of innocent authority, of saying yes before doubt has time to form.

This is a drum that teaches:

You do not need to be louder — only true.

Deer medicine brings gentleness, sensitivity, peace, and unconditional love — strength that listens rather than forces.
A lightweight birch hoop, slightly thinner at 2”, making the drum beautifully resonant and easy to hold. Birch, the White Lady of the Woods, is the tree of renewal, purification, and new beginnings — the first to awaken in spring and the keeper of sacred thresholds.
Laced in an open-hearted hoop style, allowing sound to travel freely, the copper hoop is adorned with red cloth from my Red Tent altar, carrying prayers of womb wisdom, beauty, and devotion.
A handcrafted beater made from locally coppiced hazel — the tree of wisdom and vision — with a soft red fabric head, offering a warm, gentle tone.

At 13” x 2”, this drum is an ideal companion for- a young drummer, budding priestess, or child called to rhythm and ceremony, those beginning their journey with the sacred drum or as a travelling drum for adults — portable yet powerful, carrying the heartbeat of the Earth wherever you go!

Each of my drums is personally signed by me in golden ink. Gold is the metal of the sun, of incorruptible truth and eternal light, and my signature is offered as a final blessing — a witness that this drum was birthed with intention, prayer, and care. In this way, the signing becomes a quiet rite of completion, affirming the drum’s passage from my hands into its own life of service, song, and remembrance.

I birthed my first drum over 20 years ago, inspired by Layne Redmond’s When the Women Were Drummers. Since then, each drum is created in prayer and listening — infused with the heartbeat of Mother Earth, blessed by Father Sun and Grandmother Moon, and guided by oracle, intuition, and the quiet whispers of Spirit.

Ethically sourced hides — primarily from wild UK deer, ponies, and stags — are honoured as sacred gifts, transformed from what would otherwise be waste into vessels of beauty, healing, and remembrance.

This drum carries a beginning. A declaration. A clear, steady yes to what is ready to arrive.

Shipping Policy

Each drum I birth is a sacred creation — a one-of-a-kind being infused with prayer, intention, and ceremony. Because of the deep care that goes into their making, I also take great care in their journey to you.

To ensure that every drum travels safely and arrives in good time, I now send a maximum of two drums per shipment. This allows me to track and tend to each parcel with the attention it deserves and to minimise any risk of loss or damage in transit.

If your order includes more than two drums, they will be lovingly packaged and sent in separate parcels, a few days apart. Additional postage costs will apply for each separate shipment, and I’ll always confirm these details with you before dispatch.

This approach helps each drum’s energy — and the practical delivery process — flow more smoothly, ensuring that your sacred instruments reach you with the care they deserve.
