It is always an honour to create drums for others- and especially when they are a sound healer or professional working with frequency!!!! There’s a whole level of trust in the materials- that the hide and hoop will blend in an alchemical process to create the perfect tone for the drum holder.

Each Custom drum comes with a care guide and 2 meditations I’ve recorded to connect you to your drum and wake up your drum!
Prices start from £211 for a 14″ deer drum, £233 for 16″.  Red Drums start at £322.(Red drums go through 4 dye baths of natural dyes to get the depth of colour)
All drums come with beater.
Please allow 6-8 weeks for custom drums -depending on design etc

Moon drums, medicine drums, healing drums, my heart and soul sing to these drums as I weave healing energy into the natural materials, giving thanks to Great Spirit, Mother Earth, Grandmother Moon, to the animal and tree whose energies combine in alchemy to create tones that will reverberate out, creating ripples of love, healing and awakening across our dear earth. The heart beat of the Earth Mother calls through our drums.

Hoops are crafted from Ash, the world tree. (oak, cedar, willow, rosewood maybe possible). Beaters are made from Welsh coppiced wood, stuffed with raw sheeps wool. (let me know if there are any lanolin allergies or if you may be pregnant!)

Hides come from mostly within the United Kingdom and are either from culled wild fallow deer/stags. The hide is a waste product so by using it we are honouring the animal. As a life long vegetarian I’ve wrestled with the ethics for a long time, in the end my calling to make drums and bring people to the heartbeat of our Mother was too strong! I source them as ethically as possible, supporting local crafts people. On occasion I may have to source hides from outside the UK, hides such as buffalo /cow are from the US. Read more here.

Some of my drums are Summerland Drums- drums my guides told me are the re-birthed drums of the ancient ones, the healers, the shamans, the medicine people of the tribes. The ones who had their medicine drums taken, stolen, broken, burned and destroyed.

Hide Medicine/Meanings-

Deer’s medicine includes gentleness, the ability to listen, grace and appreciation for the beauty of balance, power of gratitude and giving, ability to sacrifice for the higher good, connection to the woodland goddess, alternative paths to a goal. Deer teaches us how powerful it is to have a gentle demeanour, to exert keen observation and sensitivity. Deer’s are in tune with nature and all it comprises. They are sacred carriers of peace and show us how to open our hearts and love unconditionally .Deer teaches us to touch the hearts and minds of wounded beings who are in our lives, to gently nudge them in right direction, with the love that comes from deer.

To call upon the Stag is to call his divine power to enhance a new beginning or new venture, to bring dignity, power and integrity and to fertilize new ideas. With the stag as your drum it is a time to stand tall and be seen, now is the time to attract those that you desire. It is your time and thoughts manifest reality, be positive, assertive and diplomatic and your dreams will materialize.

The Stag is an Earth tied energy and will bring harmony and a sense of natural progression, he encourages stability and patience, patience is a virtue bestowed upon the wise. To be able to wait and be comfortable waiting. The stag is a solitaire for most of the year, but with his antlers comes his need to share, he will make himself known to all that seek his influence and will give willingly to all that are prepared to accept his ways. The Stag has always occupied the Celtic lands and is the source of many a myth and legend. It takes a skilled hunter to find an older stag, with age comes wisdom, with responsibility comes a stronger will to survive.

Goat Medicine is letting you know that this is a time to begin new climbs and new endeavours. Plan your course and take your time. In other words, look closely at what is ahead so that you can be surefooted along your path. Mountain Goat meaning is also be letting you know that it is time to stretch yourself. Therefore, reach for new and higher goals.

Goat symbolises trust ing your ability to land on your feet. Having faith in yourself and your skills is a potent tool that is available to you at all times, move forward one step at a time. The ‘sky is the limit.’ In other words, allow yourself to reach for lofty goals. The only one stopping you is yourself, believe in your power and move forward with your life.

Cow Medicine- In many cultures, animal symbolism of the cow is married to the concept of Mother Earth, and has been a symbol of fertility, feminine nurturing and power for centuries.

Other qualities of cow are: Beginnings, Patience, Nourishment, Abundance, Fertility, Female Power, Potential, Possibility, Calming, Grounded, Provision

Buffalo medicine includes manifestation, protection, earth creativity, feminine courage, abundance, knowledge, generosity, hospitality, sharing work, courage, strength, challenge, survival, giving for the greater good, formulating beneficial plans.

Buffalo will assist you in establishing a deep connection with Mother Earth, Father Sky and Grandmother Moon.

The story of the White Buffalo Woman originates from the Lakota people, she taught them that all things are inter connected and that it is not necessary to struggle to have abundance. The one thing that is necessary, however, is to be connected with Spirit. Buffalo’s relationship to the Native American People of the USA highlights these lessons. Every part of this animal was used, right down to the hooves, which were used to make glue. Buffalo gave others the gift of life by sacrificing its own. Food and hides for clothing and shelter were provided. Prior to a buffalo hunt, prayers of gratitude were offered up to great spirit by the tribes. Post hunt, ceremonies were performed that honoured the buffalo’s spirit. Without the buffalo these tribes would not have survived the harsh winters. This is just one lesson of abundance – use whatever resources are available.

Reindeer medicine beckons you to stay true to your inner compass. You’re on the right track. Now’s not the time to wander off. Keep your mind clear and your focus sure. Avoid anyone who brings drama and chaos. Reindeer wants to work with you on your soul’s purpose in this incarnation.
Reindeer is a creature of magic. Reindeer medicine keeps one foot solidly in reality during your learning process. You make magic out of stardust, wonders, and wishes, but it doesn’t mean there is no room for a mind-heart balance. Remember the ability to make and change your reality begins with a positive thought.
