This 12-inch medicine drum is a deeply feminine, handcrafted companion—born from ceremony, prayer, and the wild beauty of West Wales. Created beneath the Gemini Dark Moon, she carries an energy woven from FAMILY, HEALING, and LOVE. A perfect travelling drum, light to carry yet resonant and strong in voice.

Collaboration with Artist Suzi Edwards
The face of the drum is adorned with Suzi’s exquisite hand-painted Cave Bear—an ancient guardian, a symbol of strength, inner journeying, and ancestral wisdom.
Included with this drum is a matching deer-hide rattle painted by Suzi (value £55), featuring a bear on one side and a bear claw on the other—an exquisite blessing for anyone who walks with Bear as guide, ally, or totem.

Rabbit Fur Beater – Handmade from locally coppiced hazel wood and filled with Welsh sheep’s wool for a soft, deeply resonant tone.

I made my first drum over 20 years ago, and inspired by Layne Redmond’s When the Women Were Drummers, I have followed the call to create drums, drums that awaken the ancient remembering of rhythm, intuition, and feminine power.

Deer Medicine
Deer brings gentleness, grace, and the ability to listen deeply. She teaches the beauty of balance, the healing power of gratitude, and the courage found in softness. Deer guides us to open our hearts, walk with compassion, and gently guide others with loving presence.

Rabbit Medicine
Rabbit brings abundance, fertility, creative flow, and the ability to move through fear with agility and intuition. Rabbit reminds us to trust our instincts, follow the hidden path, and stay open to unexpected blessings.

Born beneath the Gemini Dark Moon,
woven of ash and deer hide,
carried by rabbit’s soft medicine
and blessed by the land of West Wales—
I welcome your spirit into my hands.
Great Bear Mother, guardian of caves and keepers,
wrap me in your strength.
Guide me into the deep places
where healing ripens in silence
and truth glows like embers in the dark.
Gentle Deer, heart-listener and path-finder,
teach me to walk with grace.

my intuition heightened,

Rabbit Spirit, tender one of intuition and abundance,
