Deer/Stag Hide for drum/rattle making

Scottish/Welsh Deer/Stag Raw Hide

3 sizes now available- Large -around 125cm length, 110cm width (images with 16” and 14” hoops), Medium- around 90-95cm length, 70-85cm width (image has 1 x 16″ hoop), Small- around 70-80cm length, 60cm wide (image has 1 x 16″ hoop).

Wild, natural, and full of ancient memory—these beautiful raw hides come from Stag/Deer, sacred creatures of the forest. They are perfect for drum making, rattles, and other earth-rooted crafts.

I am still working out the best ways to calculate postage- while I’m tweaking this, rest assured, any over payment of postage will be refunded to you.

Each hide is sent rolled and folded to keep postage costs down. Any creases will soften and disappear once soaked.

As a completely natural material, every piece has its own colour, shape, and texture—expect beautiful variation.

These hides carry the untamed spirit of the land. They are ideal for those crafting with reverence, intention, and a connection to the old ways.
