I named this drum Mariam Nura d’Rosa
(pronounced mah-ree-AHM NOO-rah duh RO-zah)
Nura – sacred flame
Rosa – rose
Meaning- Mary, Flame of the Rose

Each Magdalene Drum is birthed through ceremony —
crafted as a living altar to the lineage of Mary Magdalene and the ancient Sisterhood of the Rose.
Carried through my hands as a womb worker of over thirty years, each drum holds encoded wisdom of body, blood, and bone —
the sacred remembering of the feminine.

14” Horse drum with Rosewood Frame, open-hearted hoop back- a copper hoop wrapped in red altar fabric.

Rosewood is heartwood — literally and spiritually.
Its deep red hue speaks to the heart and the womb.
It teaches strength through vulnerability.
Copper, a conductor of energy,  wrapped in red altar cloth, anchors the drum in devotional current.

It comes with a hazel beater, coppiced from my local woods.
Hazel is the tree of wisdom, poetic inspiration, and sacred wells, cloaked in magic in Celtic lore.
With a red fabric beater head, bound in soft red ribbon – a pulse of bloodline remembrance.
The red pouch, tied with ribbon holds within it-
A golden rose from my altar
Rose quartz (for heart activation, compassion, tenderness)
The drum’s umbilical knot- memory of its becoming

Everything about this drum speaks in red, rose red, blood red, devotional red.

Horse medicine is both physical and unearthly power.
In shamanic traditions worldwide, horse enables flight between realms -a messenger across gateways.
And this drum was born in an eclipse gateway.
Horse teaches: True power is wisdom earned through experience.
Compassion is the gateway to authority.
Leadership must be balanced with love.
As a power animal, horse is concerned with gateways
This drum is a bridge- supporting – crossing from old identity to new embodiment, reclaiming authority rooted in compassion, heart-led visibility, Sacred service.

Shipping Policy

Each drum I birth is a sacred creation — a one-of-a-kind being infused with prayer, intention, and ceremony. Because of the deep care that goes into their making, I also take great care in their journey to you.

To ensure that every drum travels safely and arrives in good time, I now send a maximum of two drums per shipment. This allows me to track and tend to each parcel with the attention it deserves and to minimise any risk of loss or damage in transit.

If your order includes more than two drums, they will be lovingly packaged and sent in separate parcels, a few days apart. Additional postage costs will apply for each separate shipment, and I’ll always confirm these details with you before dispatch.

This approach helps each drum’s energy — and the practical delivery process — flow more smoothly, ensuring that your sacred instruments reach you with the care they deserve.

Drum Return & Refund Policy

Every drum I create is a one-of-a-kind sacred instrument, birthed through ritual and made with natural materials that respond to their environment and the energy of their guardian.

To honour the integrity of this work, the following policy applies to all drum sales:

Returns & Refunds

• I am happy to accept returns within 7 days of receipt if you are not satisfied with your drum.

• The drum must be returned in its original condition, carefully packaged to prevent damage in transit.

• Return postage is the responsibility of the customer.

• Once the drum is received and inspected, a refund will be issued minus original shipping costs.

After 7 Days

Due to the nature of these handcrafted instruments, I do not offer refunds or exchanges after 7 days, unless the drum is found to be structurally faulty upon arrival.

Repairs

Natural hide drums are sensitive to moisture, temperature, and handling. For this reason, I cannot offer guaranteesbeyond the initial period, as I have no way of knowing how the drum has been stored or used.

If your drum becomes damaged or loses tone after some time, I do offer a paid repair service on a case-by-case basis. Please contact me with photos and details, and I’ll be happy to assess and advise.
