Description
20” Reindeer Drum — bringing magic, courage, resiliency, and steadfast direction.
Ash wood hoop — laced in “open-hearted” hoop style with 36 holes, 36 reduces to the number 9 (3 + 6 = 9), a number long honoured as a symbol of completion, wisdom, and spiritual initiation. In many traditions, 9 represents the closing of one cycle and the quiet opening of another — the threshold between endings and rebirth. This feels beautifully aligned with the medicine of an eclipse, which itself marks a moment of profound turning.
Nine is also the number of the Great Mother’s gestation, the nine lunar months through which life forms within the womb. In this way, the 36 lacings may be seen as threads of a sacred weaving, drawing together sky, earth, and ancestry to hold the drum’s living heart. Each lacing becomes a strand in a prayer — binding the hide, the wood, and the spirit of reindeer into one body of sound.

Shipping Policy
Each drum I birth is a sacred creation — a one-of-a-kind being infused with prayer, intention, and ceremony. Because of the deep care that goes into their making, I also take great care in their journey to you.
To ensure that every drum travels safely and arrives in good time, I now send a maximum of two drums per shipment. This allows me to track and tend to each parcel with the attention it deserves and to minimise any risk of loss or damage in transit.
If your order includes more than two drums, they will be lovingly packaged and sent in separate parcels, a few days apart. Additional postage costs will apply for each separate shipment, and I’ll always confirm these details with you before dispatch.
This approach helps each drum’s energy — and the practical delivery process — flow more smoothly, ensuring that your sacred instruments reach you with the care they deserve.
