A box/post bag of hide off cuts for crafts or rattle making- approx 300-400g of raw hide.
It will be a mix of hides, all sizes of whatever i have in stock – for example goat, buffalo, deer, stag, cow, dyed deer- indigo and red.
OR just Deer scraps.

Horse is now very rare, my regular supplier has retired so any sets with horse will cost a bit more.
to help you identify the hides when you get them-
Goat- usually white/cream hide
Buffalo and cow are both thick and a cream translucent colour hide
Deer and stag – light brown hide
Horse- thick dark brown hide
Reindeer- very thin white hide
Dyed hides are deer
Description
Hides mostly come from within the United Kingdom and are either from culled wild horses/ponies/deer/stags or animals that have naturally died. The hide is a waste product so by using it we are honouring the animal. As a life long vegetarian I’ve wrestled with the ethics for a long time, in the end my calling to make drums and bring us to the heartbeat of our Mother was too strong! I source my materials as ethically as possible, supporting local crafts people.
