The hide is Horse, bringing both earthly strength and unearthly freedom.
In shamanic traditions across the world, Horse carries the shaman across thresholds, enabling flight between realms. Horse awakens compassion, wisdom, and true authority — the kind of power that arises when we walk our path with heart and remember the footsteps of others.

With Horse, this drum becomes a messenger and guide, carrying prayers, songs, and healing into the unseen realms and returning with vision, courage, and grounded power.

Oak Spirit & Sacred Structure- The hoop is Oak, revered by the Celts as the Tree of the Dagda — protector of leaders and warriors, keeper of truth, bravery, and sacred hospitality.
Oak reminds us of humanity’s capacity to overcome adversity while remaining kind, steady, and open-hearted.

The drum is bound with 30 hide lacings, these lacings can be felt as a rhythm of completion and devotion — echoing the turning of the lunar cycle and the steady practice of listening, returning, and realigning. Each lacing becomes a point of intention, holding the prayers spoken during the drum’s making and supporting the drummer in walking their path with clarity and commitment. The cross at the centre is a symbol of balance and direction, holding the medicine of the four winds and four elements, anchoring the drum as a compass for journeying and ceremony.

The beater is crafted from Hazel wood from Ireland, the tree of wisdom and poetic inspiration — sacred to the Salmon of Knowledge and the Well of Segais. Hazel awakens vision, intuition, and creative flow. The beater head is soft chamois, stuffed with alpaca wool.

At the back of the drum rests a small medicine pouch of offerings, holding-

Quartz is the master amplifier of the mineral kingdom, illuminating true identity and supporting spiritual awakening. It enhances intention, clears stagnant energies, and energises the chakra system. Within this pouch, quartz holds and magnifies the drum’s medicine, supporting clarity, alignment, and focused journeying each time the drum is played.

This drum is a threshold keeper — a steady ally for listening deeply, releasing what no longer serves, and stepping forward with clarity, courage, and grounded power.

Shipping Policy

Each drum I birth is a sacred creation — a one-of-a-kind being infused with prayer, intention, and ceremony. Because of the deep care that goes into their making, I also take great care in their journey to you.

To ensure that every drum travels safely and arrives in good time, I now send a maximum of two drums per shipment. This allows me to track and tend to each parcel with the attention it deserves and to minimise any risk of loss or damage in transit.

If your order includes more than two drums, they will be lovingly packaged and sent in separate parcels, a few days apart. Additional postage costs will apply for each separate shipment, and I’ll always confirm these details with you before dispatch.

This approach helps each drum’s energy — and the practical delivery process — flow more smoothly, ensuring that your sacred instruments reach you with the care they deserve.

Every drum I create is a one-of-a-kind sacred instrument, birthed through ritual and made with natural materials that respond to their environment and the energy of their guardian.

To honour the integrity of this work, the following policy applies to all drum sales:

Returns & Refunds

• I am happy to accept returns within 7 days of receipt if you are not satisfied with your drum.

• The drum must be returned in its original condition, carefully packaged to prevent damage in transit.

• Return postage is the responsibility of the customer.

• Once the drum is received and inspected, a refund will be issued minus original shipping costs.

After 7 Days

Due to the nature of these handcrafted instruments, I do not offer refunds or exchanges after 7 days, unless the drum is found to be structurally faulty upon arrival.

Repairs

Natural hide drums are sensitive to moisture, temperature, and handling. For this reason, I cannot offer guaranteesbeyond the initial period, as I have no way of knowing how the drum has been stored or used.

If your drum becomes damaged or loses tone after some time, I do offer a paid repair service on a case-by-case basis. Please contact me with photos and details, and I’ll be happy to assess and advise.
