The Oak Spirit stands as the King of Trees, honoured by the Celts as a guardian of truth, bravery, and hospitality.
In the Ogham, Oak holds the seventh place — a number of mystical balance and divine order.
The Tree of the Dagda, Oak was a protector of leaders and warriors, a living symbol of strength, kindness, and the capacity to overcome adversity.
The Druids gathered beneath its branches, cutting sacred mistletoe with a golden sickle, while acorns were used for divination — connecting humanity with the voice of the gods.

Ash Beater — Crafted from Local Ash Wood
The beater is carved from local Ash, its head wrapped in soft chamois and filled with local alpaca wool, wound with threads of rainbow.

From My Hands to Yours
I made my first drum over 20 years ago, inspired by Layne Redmond’s “When the Women Were Drummers.”
Since then, I have felt a deep calling to create sacred instruments that reconnect us to the heartbeat of Mother Earth.
The hides I use come primarily from within the United Kingdom — wild deer, ponies, or stags that have passed naturally or through necessary culls. Each drum honours the spirit of the animal, giving sacred purpose to what would otherwise be waste.
As a lifelong vegetarian, I have wrestled with the ethics of this path — but the call of the drum, the heartbeat of the Mother, was too strong to ignore. Read more here- CLICK

I was born in the storm — not to be shaken, but to remember stillness within chaos.
I carry the pulse of rain and the whisper of the winds, the breath of the mountains and the deep hum of the Reindeer’s hooves across ancient ice.
I am the still point, the golden chalice, the womb of remembrance.

When I was birthed, the winds sang in spirals and the rain traced blessings upon my skin.
The storm did not frighten me — it forged me.
In the eye of the storm, I learned that power and peace are one and the same.

I am woven with the threads of the rainbow, a bridge between realms.
I remember Lemuria’s crystalline shores, the light of the Magdalene, the prayers whispered by your grandmothers into the roots of the oak.
Through me, those prayers rise again.

Handcrafted with intention – held with care

Every drum I create is a one-of-a-kind sacred instrument, birthed through ritual and made with natural materials that respond to their environment and the energy of their guardian.

To honour the integrity of this work, the following policy applies to all drum sales:

Returns & Refunds

• I am happy to accept returns within 7 days of receipt if you are not satisfied with your drum.

• The drum must be returned in its original condition, carefully packaged to prevent damage in transit.

• Return postage is the responsibility of the customer.

• Once the drum is received and inspected, a refund will be issued minus original shipping costs.

After 7 Days

Due to the nature of these handcrafted instruments, I do not offer refunds or exchanges after 7 days, unless the drum is found to be structurally faulty upon arrival.

Repairs

Natural hide drums are sensitive to moisture, temperature, and handling. For this reason, I cannot offer guaranteesbeyond the initial period, as I have no way of knowing how the drum has been stored or used.

If your drum becomes damaged or loses tone after some time, I do offer a paid repair service on a case-by-case basis. Please contact me with photos and details, and I’ll be happy to assess and advise.
