Cancer as Initiation
I find myself driving towards the church and start to wonder how I’d even got here. The last thing I remembered was coming out of the acupuncturists, but I knew I had to be here for some reason. I parked and headed into the church, collapsing onto my knees sobbing, “Why me God, why now? I want to be here for my children. I want to see my children grow, I want to see them get married and have children of their own. This is not my time to die!” All of these emotions I’d been bottling inside me came tumbling out.
Eventually they subsided, I lit a candle, breathing deeply, calming myself and feeling the support of my guides, feeling the light of God in my heart, coming to that place of surrender and trust.
A voice replied “Why not you? You have the tools, you are here to transmute this into light. Your story will help others”
